Abstract

SWAG extends 3D Gaussian Splatting to unconstrained image collections by introducing appearance-conditioned Gaussians and transient object modeling. The approach reconstructs photorealistic scenes from Internet-scale imagery while remaining compatible with real-time rendering.

Key Contributions

  • Appearance-conditioned Gaussian Splatting
  • Transient object modeling
  • Robust reconstruction from in-the-wild images
  • Real-time novel-view synthesis
  • State-of-the-art performance on outdoor landmarks
